Garden walk around and ideas session                                                                      $220 

  An on-site meeting at the property for approximately 1-1.5 hours which generally involves (depending on client requirements):

• discussion with client/s about the issues they want to address and how they wish their garden to look and be used.

• provision of some functional and aesthetic solution suggestions such as possible design, hard-scaping and plant options, opportunities to update or enhance existing plants and features, evaluation of the clients ideas and how to move these forward, information about appropriate new plants and their maintenance and steps for soil improvement if required.

• access to recommended plants at wholesale prices.

A Garden Walk Around is ideal for clients who are seeking general garden design or planting advice, want some professional feedback on their own ideas for their garden or are seeking more information about possibilities for their garden. 

Master Plan   -   everything you need for a small area                           From $950

The Master Plan Set is for a small garden area where the client requires a few simple hardscape elements designed and/or  planting recommendations, to update or enhance an existing area or create a small feature area. It is based upon a client brief and is presented as a detailed 2D CAD drawing (with notes) .

This plan set works best for clients who are seeking the professional design of a small and simple garden layout and planting for an area within an existing garden or a small dedicated area - eg play area, balcony or courtyard, verge or pool or alfresco surrounds.

Landscape Design Concept Plan Set - 'The Works'                                 From $2195 (half property)     

The Landscape Design Concept Plan Set comprises 2D and 3D CAD drawings showing unique design ideas for a new garden which are based upon a detailed client brief, budget and ongoing consultation, in comprehensive detail including:

• existing features to be retained

• the design, positioning, material types and dimensions of all new hardscape elements such as retaining walls, raised planters, structures such as screens, pergolas and carports, fences, paths, and garden edging, pools and fountains, decks/patios/alfresco areas

• recommended colour schemes and finishes

• positioning of planting beds and lawn areas

• a detailed planting plan

• furniture, garden accoutrements (such as feature pots, artwork, play equipment) and lighting recommendations

The Landscape Design Concept Plan Set is perfect for clients who are seeking a comprehensive design concept and all the details required  to install a beautiful and functional new garden. The garden can be built by the client/s themselves over time or by landscape contractors.

Other Services

To assist self installers, Urban Retreat can provide installation advice as required and detailed working drawings to aid construction of the garden.

For clients who wish to use Contractors for installation drawings of elements which are required by the contractor and/or regular design consultation during installation can be provided for a fee structure that best suits requirements. 

Fees are based on standard suburban block sizes.
